Mainstream Northern Italians don't look Germanic, more like an intermediary between Iberians, French and Balkaners.
Alpine region Northern Italians are generally Central European shifted. People from some parts of Veneto, Friuli and Tyroleans are the ones who look Germanic. In my family itself you can see this. Before doing a DNA test and researching my genealogy extensively I used to believe some Treviso area Venetians ancestors of mine were Calabrians lol.
BUt my relatives coming from Trento/Friuli and parts of Triveneto are mostly very light and Central Euro looking. I posted some of them here and most people passed them in Austria/Germany.
