Vasques with s looks Brazilian, and sounds very low class.
A bad copy of the Spanish surnames.
It is very uncommon to have foreign known ancestors in Spain. In UK lot of people have Irish or Scott recent ancestors. In France the same. In Eastern Europe too (yourself). That does not happen in countries like Spain, Italy, Portugal or Greece.

This actress is English however I see that she could fit very well in Iberia her face is not atypical.
The actress who plays Cersei Lannister in Games of Thrones also could pass very well in Iberia although not as typical as the first.

Morales sounds very bad, it is ugly IMO.
The case is that the Portuguese surnames ended in -s are the altered version of Spanish surnames. We see it as a poor copy of our surnames. Not saying they are ugly (they are not, for example Vasques sounds good) but they are low class to us. It sounds like too many artificial.
