Default Did your ancestors battled in Napoleonic Wars?

Do you know something about military service of your ancestors in the times of Napoleonic Wars?

My great4grandfather was born in 1789 and married as 17 years old, in 1806, already.
First child of him was born and recorded in the church records in 1813.
The record mentioned him as a soldier.
I suppose that he fought in Napoleonic Wars as a soldier of Habsburg Empire.
Unfortunately, the church records did not mention a name of the regiment, he served in.
Nevertheless, people of this part of Moravia usually served at following
    Infantry Regiments:
    IR 1

    IR 7

    IR 20

    IR 57

More about Moravian and Silesian Regiments from that time, you can find here

A 5 x great-grandfather was a lieutenant in the Prussian „Infanterie-Regiment No. 51 (v. Kauffberg)“, stationed in Danzig. He is documented to have been killed in action during retreat battles against Napoleon close to Halle/Saale at the end of 1806.

A specimen of the uniform of that regiment is here:

A 4 x great-grandfather that was born in 1774 is documented in 1803 when he married to have been a drum major (Tambour) in the Prussian „Infanterie-Regiment No. 4 (v. Kalckreuth)“, stationed in Elbing. He died as a civilian in 1840. I’ve no direct information on whether he took part in the Prussian-French campaign in 1806/1807 or not but I think it can be assumed.

A specimen of the uniform of that regiment is here:
