Default How do Greeks observe Ottomans?

    Do you see them as

    1. Foreign Army that razed your land?
    2. Islamic Byzantine Converts who committed culturocide to Hellenism?
    3. Mix of both Turan Steppe Hordes and Islamic Converts?
    4. Turko-Persian Armies?

Can someone elaborate how Greeks observe Turks and Ottomans in general, How do they see them?

    Thank you

Spreading Orthodox Christianity would certainly not be a motive for Greeks to start a conflict. Hypothetically speaking Greeks would more likely go to war in order to defend their cultural sphere from the infiltration of i.e. Islam which many may perceive as a threat to their liberties. But to conquer or invade and spread Orthodox Christianity. Not a chance. Modern Greeks don't care about religion that much.

Greeks always cared about their religion much, those who don't are not Greeks.

Wrong. They do not care that much. Remember that we have an atheist ruling party. Those who voted for them were also Christian Orthodox. Those who do indeed care about religion view it as a medium which protects our culture and/or identity. But never would they go to war to spread Orthodoxy. This is not the Greeks demeanor.
