    I think thats the case for Dubai and other countries that only able to build their monuments with almost complete help of western architects and engineers, but if you are able to build it completly based on your ideas and know how, its more of a presentation of your knowledge.

    Perhaps but I believe in "reasonable sizes" and "rational architecture" to begin with. Particularly in a style that resembles the national history of the country and integrates the build-up surroundings as well as the landscape and that is, perhaps, what makes the Speer Plan so ugly. The Nazi's did have some architectural successes though: his lighting for the current Strasse des 17. Juni is beautiful and should be kept as it is. The Nazi's also had those Thingstätte and Ordensburgen which weren't too bad either but their bigger plans proved to be a faillure.
