Do you also think people nowadays refer all the Afro-Asiatic people, except for the Jews, as Arabs?

When it comes to North Africans and Arabian Peninsula natives i'd say for the most part yes, people there often are just seen as Arabs with not much more thought to it. Then when you get into the East Sub Saharan African territory (Somalia in particular) it becomes more complicated, they're typically not seen as Arabs but some of them really do want that label. They're in the Arab league but look completely different to what most people consider Arabs

I mean, do people nowadays collect all North Africans, non-Jewish Levantines and Mesopotamians and peninsular Arabs under the term “Arab” although North Africans, Levantines and Mesopotamians are not so Arab at all, genetically speaking?
