Icelandic people, a human race/specie?

Populations very isolated from others geographically or culturally as Icelandic or some Arabic for example constitue a kind of specific human race/specie according to scientists.
Because they reproduce themselves with their distant cousins.
No consanguinity but no miscegenation either.
What do you think about that?

Nope. Icelanders did underwent extensive genetic drift but they are still very close to almost indistinguishable from other Northwest Europeans.

It’s exactly that’s what constitutes a new human race/specie.
I am not for but I think it’s like dogs you know.
The dogs come from the wolf, those who have suffered the most genetic selections from breeders are the most distant from the wolf who is the primitive dog par excellence.
I think maybe the Icelandic are those who suffer the most genetic selections from Mother nature /environment.
It means Atlantic Ocean and the lack of sunlight among others.
