2. According to national laws all citizens in Turkey are Turks. It is not about the ethnicity. If you identify yourself Turkish, some people would accept you as a Turk.

3. You will be welcomed. Many Orthodox visit Turkey (actullay millions of). Maybe some nationalists and Islamists could be hated Serbians and Orthodox but they are few.

I had a turkish friend and he told me they call him european when he visits turkey it is pretty normal though as in serbia they call sometimes diaspora serbs as svabos a name for german. Many of us dislike German Turks. Nobody thinks that they’re European here, also an average German Turk is way darker than us ironically. They act like Arabs in Turkey, they can’t even talk in Turkish as a native speaker, they are not aware of Turkish culture as well.

I visited Turkey several times and I always said that I am Serb,I never had any problem bc of that...
I even had the impression that they were glad I was a Serb..
People on the street or in cafes thought I was a rus or a Westerner, I also have to say that they know a lot about Serbian history, I also heard quite a few times that they people from Bosnia regard as the Serbs who practice Islam...I should like to point out that I was hung out with the people who were educated...
