    U talk really nonsense. Turks in Europe are brought up with Turkish culture and language. Actually their first language is Turkish. And they often talk Turkish with each other anywere.

    Do you think you know better than the actual Turks living in Turkey?

    Do you know better than me? Of course they know how to speak Turkish but not as native, that’s already what i said. They have a heavy accent, even heavier than the accent of Kurds of Turkey. Who tf cares in which language they speak with each other, still their Turkish is terrible and yes, they have cultural issues here, they don’t have Turkish culture properly.

    He is viewed as a hero in Turkey by pretty much everyone.

    b) Opinion on Alevi Turks?
    I find Alevism strange, actually i find every religious practice apart from mainstream Hanafi Sunni practices strange, due to upbringing. They are okay though.

    c) how well does average Turk know bout his tribal origin?
    Only Yörüks and Turkmens actually know their tribal origins, and some people fabricate origins.

    A=yes
    B= Alevi turks are merciful and open minded people. I love them. Without the policies of the ottoman empire most turk would be alevi(bektaşi). most of young alevi turks are irreligious(this is good for me). But the elderly are also respectful of the differences. They suffered a lot from the ottoman empire. They are still marginalized by the goverment(RTE's world). Conservative turkified people dont like Alevi turks . Because alevi turks are free- spirited...they have their villages close to my village and no differences(culture and phenotype)yoruk. We call them Tahtacı in western anatolia. They still keep many traditions coming from central asia.

    He's been viewed as a national hero by almost everyone because he conquered muh Istanbul. Though i like to think he made himself much more influental in our history by reforming the Ottoman constitution and defining the country as a centralized imperial state. Imo he should be more appreciated as a man of statecraft, not because he conquered a city.

    b) Opinion on Alevi Turks?
    Alevism is mainly a nomadic Kurdish/Turkmen thing. They are syntcretists who at the time opposed the Ottoman Hanafi authority and got violently oppressed for it. You can see the obvious traces of Paganism and other religions in their folklore.

    c) how well does average Turk know bout his tribal origin?
    Well enough. This myth of Turks not knowing they were Turks until Pan-Turkists and nationalists came over is whole bullshit. They had the notion of their ancestors invaded Rûm from Khorasan and Transoxiana. Evliya Çelebi mentioned many times that his entire blood line were from Khorasan and he claimed that Ahmed Yesevi was his direct ancestor.

    Do you feel closer connection to Turks from other countries (Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Balkans etc.) or to turkish speaking minorities in Turkey?
