I served in communications,

We didn't get serious field training. We had the chance to experiment with guns but our main job was to transmit info in Natoic alphabet, establish undercover bases and we also took some courses on electronic warfare. It was a nice chance to see the smuggling that is taking place in the EU/Greek border and realize how far behind we are in technology.

Ah. Like my own man. He was a verbindelaar (a slang term for someone working in communications) when he had to come up for the draft back in '72 He never told me anything about it, unfortunately, but I have his old stuff here somewhere. I think they got field training though as part of basic. No, my buddy was a real Marine. I am not entirely sure what he did but it's not very common to talk about your military time here anyway so chances are I will never find out.

Zero fiber diet would give either diahrea of constipation. So you must suffer pretty hard on a daily basis.

It may come as a surprise but some Westerners are late in matter of hygiene compared to most Asians and other nationalities.
Anything except wet cleansing (bidet, bidet-shower, Japanese toilets...) is utterly disgusting. How do some people content with wiping? did they missed the boat?
