Do you as a Castillian not want independence from them?

I am suprised more castilians do not support catalan indy

Spain is a country built with the blood and sweat of all Spaniards, also of Catalans. In fact many Catalan heroes bravely gave their lives for Spain. How could we today betray his legacy?

I assure you that there are many Castilians - as well as Leoneses, Aragoneses, Galicians, etc. - who say things like "I hope they become independent now, they are nothing more than a big black hole where our resources and our money go!" But I am not one of them. As Spain, Catalonia is part of Spain and the Catalans are my brothers, together we have built this great country called Spain.

It is true that Spanish politics today is disastrous and only serves to create hatred between regions, but there are alternatives to that Spain without going to dismember it. I personally defend a Spanish state articulated around its traditional regions in which each region is administered under their own traditional laws.

Many large factories, companies, etc. they have left regions such as Castilla, Asturias, León, Extremadura, Aragón or Andalusia to settle in Catalonia, the Basque Country, Madrid and Valencia, which has left those regions without work and has forced its population to emigrate there.

One of my closest friends on this forum is from the Basque Country and he's extremely pro British and pro Anglosphere nations.

We've been friends for many long years on YT too before we joined this site, where I used to make videos for many years on his behalf about the Basque country.

Each day (for many years now) him and his Basque and Catalan friends have been teaching me a lot about our shared ancestry and the Basque culture, in addition to telling me a lot about what they've endured by the Spanish and how much he hates Spain and wants to be independent.

He thanked me yesterday for supporting the Basques and Catalans but he said he doesn't want to speak to Spanish posters on the forum as they irritate him a lot.

Cristiano is just the icing-on-the-cake.

We have a forum member here who is half-Greek half-Catalonian living in Catalonia, didn't see him that excited about independence when I have been in Barcelona myself and didn't notice people that cared a lot. Europe is already in pieces, how will another separate entity do any good?

This was the famous independence referendum. In addition to being illegal because the Constitution says so and for having used public schools and public funds. You can see the same person voting multiple times, children voting, illegal immigrants voting.
