All lands except Albanian in that map have one thing in common - conquered identities. Albanians are the remnants of the old civilizations in the area, we have no business with neither Slavs, nor the slavic y-dna Roma who larp as Dacians. Hands off our language ancestors, slavshit.

That map with Albania, Kosovo, and western North Macedonia out of it. That's how it should be.

Tribal Nationalism is the problem.

Those people aren't really the same though they do share common origins but so do they with Albanians. Proto Romanians and Proto Albanians probably had a common origin. Romanians just absorbed a lot more Slavs. South Slavs have the same or similar genetic combination , Balkan - Slavic mix. Slavs that arrived absorbed native people. And native people like Romanians absorbed Slavs.

Nationalism is a problem because thats what caused the Balkan wars and conflicts , nationalism and expansionism.
