    Except Gallipoli Serbs there was a lot of other islamized Serbian imigrants in Turkey. Ask Gedza.

    Not really.

    But via genealogy study ... I know that one Swedish noble family cross my family lines .... very far in the past.
    Interesting detail... but nothing more really.

    As there are:
    * Families with the title of count 142
    * Baronial families 406
    * Untitled Nobility 2350

    Total about 3000.

    Word serbes/serbez is known in Serbian language as archaic word but it is not in use except among Bosniaks nowadays. Meaning is "without worry" or "carelessly".

    There is even Muslim surname Serbezovski.

    No, my strict paternal line, from the north of France, was composed of modest people, they had no title. They were low-class people in this time.

    My strict maternal line, likewise.

    Yes, serbes is used as “free, careless, comfy, lighthearted” in our dialect. Idk, i thought it comes from Persian word “serbest”.

    He was not you ancestor but far cousin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telli_Hasan_Pasha
    He was convertit on Islam in 16th century, and your paternal ancestor converted on Islam about 1700.

    I have a blood of Serbian medieval noble family Dejanović-Dragaš https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dejanović_noble_family
