That bump is what forms the convex nose. Dinarid=armenoid, the only difference is pigmentation, former is paler to the latter.

Pontid=Med, the only difference is the robustness to the skull cephalic index.

You don't have a med nose, although the rest of your features are such.

Just because we don't look like WASPs on average, we are looking like Jews and Armenians?

On another comment, you say we look like other Balkan peoples. Please decide, one of the two, if you may choose.

As for the overlap", we don't even overlap. Only a few subgroups do, and even that, partially.

I know this discussion is old but we will have to agree to disagree.

I say Greeks look most similar to southern Italians and neighboring south-Balkan ethnicities of course. But southern Italians, Greeks and other south-Balkan ethnicities all look quite similar to Jews, Anatolians and Caucasus people IMO.

And it’s not only a few subgroups. Greek islanders and southern Italians plot closest to Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews on PCA diagrams. Central Italians, mainland Greeks and Albanians are not far off either. Southern Europe in general plots somewhere in between West Asia and Europe. Yes, I know Greeks are not ‘West Asian’. My point is that southern Europeans, including Greeks, share overlapping similarities with West Asians. And I don’t think (Ashkenazi) Jews are as West Asian as you make them out to be either. They are by far more genetically related to Greeks and Italians than they are to Arabs, Iranians, Armenians or Turks in general.
