If anyone is curious about Greek Islander skin tones, just go see my classify threads. I live in the arctic so I'm never tanned (from the sun) basically

Hellenas posts good stuff and seems to know what he is talking about. I agree with him.

By European standards they are the most MENA-looking along with Sicilians

Greeks don’t look MENA or European, they look Mediterranean. First of all there is no standard European look, because Europeans look different based on regions, mostly differed between north and south. South Europeans look somewhere in between the MENA range and the north European range, which makes perfect sense.

That doesn’t make sense because Mediterranean types are found in a large portion of the Middle East as well, even when excluding Orientalid.
Ehh that depends. South Italians maybe, but definitely not north Italians. Greek islanders and south Italians are nearly identical in terms of genetics and same with phenotypes. And the mainland of course is not too far off either.

Nope
Some overlap mainly with people from the Levant exists though, not so much because Greeks look truly
Middle Eastern but rather because of shared Mediteranean features in both regions and some Dinaric
influence which exists in Levantine people too besides true Orientalid/Armenoid types.
