Can you recognize from which states are certain americans just based on accent? I've heard one time there is no accents in different parts of US, just slangs, but I doubt it.

To the extent that there are different "countries" culturally within the U.S., I'd say New York, California, Miami, and perhaps Boston would fall under that.

There are definitely different accents, although most are getting less pronounced. I can frequently, but not always, tell. I can tell Canadians too. My sense is Canada is closer to uniform accent wise than the U.S. is.

    No.

Is America moving closer together or further away from each other?
We're more divided than ever before. Even more so than before the Ciivil War.

What's your view on societies that offer free healthcare and free education for everyone? Would you want that in the US swell?
No, you should have to earn it.

Is there a connection between Americans for a greater good of everybody?
Not really, we're not concerned with that.

What's the general sentiment towards native americans and their place?
Native American is a politically correct newspeak term. The Injuns are heavily romanticized unfortunately. There are barely any left though.

Is there any truth to the struggle of the black people in the US? (Forgot what you call it?)
    No.

What thing about your country makes you proud?
Great American literature, movies and music.

Would the incoming spanish speakers one day take over, and parts of the US would become spanish speaking?
    No.

Why do so many people get shot in the US?
That happens in urban areas with lots of colored people.

I meet a californian (she was my teacher), but in reality she was mexican-born, I perceived I could get her words better than the other teacher who happened to be from Louisiana.

1)Most Americans would pick Canada. I'd pick the UK or Australia. Nothing against Canada though.

2)It's very hard to say at this point but I doubt it. Trump got elected because he was going against the most hated, if not the most hated, politician in recent history. For him to have a good chance of winning relection he would have had to expand his base significantly which he has not done. None of the candidates on the democratic field right now are anywhere near as hated as Clinton was. Even establishment ones like Kamala Harris and Corey Booker aren't.

3)No one outside of tiny enclaves where they have a large population

I have been in the USA 8 times but all were in Cali/L.A except 1 sidetrip to Nevada/Los Vegas, so I mainly have mostly had the Californian experience of America ... which is probably the most internationally promoted via media/Hollywood.
There's a large degree of diversity but I think the greatest divisions would be between large urban areas/other liberal areas and rural regions. But is someone from say, Montana much different from a person in rural Texas? Doubt it. Not to the point that they can't relate with each other.

I think there's also quite a lot of division racially so that areas with large populations of non-whites such as blacks or hispanics would stand out.

    1. Canada because of legal weed, lax attitudes toward prostitution, a Social Democratic system similar to Europe's, and membership in the (British) Commonwealth. Runner ups include the Netherlands for much of the same reasons including their Germanic language (Ich kann Deutsch), and Spain, due to their siestas, cuisine, women, and high life expectancy.

    2. I would say "No", but anything's possible come election time. Trump is an entertainer and knows how to rile up his base at rallies like how Hitler once did. I don't think so though because his tax-cuts for the rich pissed-off a lot of members of his White working-class base, there are a lot of powerful, monied, interests that object strongly to his protectionist policies, and Democrats and moderates will be galvanized to show up in large numbers to a degree that simply didn't exist when they thought Hillary's victory was guaranteed.

    3. No. I don't think the average American is concerned with matters outside of the U.S. This is exacerbated by the fact that TV news in the US hardly mentions the outside world.
