How is Old Croc Cheddar? I get the feeling that it is similar to the American brand Tillamook Cheddar but not as high quality British Isles varieties. Never seen this stores and I wonder if it is something marketed to Americans but not sold in Australia. We get so much BS that is marketed as "Australian".

I should have known. I haven't seen it stores but advertised online. I'm not surprised because there are a number of BS "Aussie" products geared toward Americans, the classic example being Fosters Beer. It's to the point were almost every "Aussie" product marketed to Americans is a just a marketing gimmick that plays on the idea that Australia is "exotic and cool"

The only genuine Aussie imports I see are varieties of Eucalyptus trees and other Australian plant life. The tree is so dominate and prolific here that entire Eucalyptus forests develop along the coastline, where there is enough moisture. Some mistakenly believe it is a native to the state. I disagree in the second article that it is "the most hated tree" because a lot of people like their scent.

"Blue gums can’t reproduce on their own just anywhere in California; Yost says they need year-round moisture. They’re able to regenerate in places like California’s coastal fog belt, but elsewhere “there are some plantations that don’t reproduce at all. When you go there, the trees are all in their rows, there’s few saplings anywhere to be seen, and those trees are just getting older.”

Do Australians drink any eggnog or have they turned full lactose intolerant and Med from living in a hot climate?

Eggnog is not a thing here and never was, you won't find it at supermarkets. The equivalent drink is a Snowball, though it's not a Christmas tradition.

Australia is more similar to America than Britain is but I wouldn't say Australia has more in common with America than with Britain. Only in some ways.
Spoiler!

Why in Australia, unlike North America, did they not bring African slaves?
