There's lots of different horse-racing events across the UK, but Royal Ascot is one of the most famous events held here.

Royal Ascot is the most prestigious horse racing event in the world. It's attended by royalty too.


'Ladies Hats Day' during the Royal Ascot horse racing events involves female spectators attending and being dressed in the most creative and wildest and outlandish hats, as they compete for the most unique hat.

Even the hat-loving Royals, the late Princess Diana, and Joan Collins don't wear such outlandish hats.

Polo is played all over the planet and over 50 countries worldwide are involved in the game. The dominant nations are the USA and Great Britain, each of which has a thriving polo scene and industry. Other polo hotspots include New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, South Africa, Dubai, China, Chile and Spain.
