One of the many Serbs who were elite among Croatians. He was župan of Varaždin županija (1875-1885) where kaykavian Croatians (aka croatized Slovenians) were always vast majority.

Poorest and most illterate ethnic minority in Croatia (except Gypsies) was anything but elite. But interesting to see assimilation of Croat y-dna among some orthodox believers.
Of course that Carpathian-Dalmatian branch of R1a he belongs to has nothing to do with Serbs.

I am still waiting to see is there any mass-present genuine Serb ydna existant among your people, that could prove Serb migrations ever happened. So far no real evidence for that.

Ognjeslav Utješinović Ostrožinski was a Orthodox Serb. His y dna is not alien for Krajina Serbs, it's second most common branch of R1a among them i think. Guy from Ostrožin (Banija) who was tested with surname Utješinović has the closest matches among several Krajina Serbs and one Vojvodinian Serb (who probably has further Krajina origin).

Petar Preradović was born as Orthodox Serb, but he converted to Catholicism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petar_..._and_education

Svetozar Borojević was born in Serbian Orthodox family https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Svetozar_Boroević#Life

Josip Runjanin creator of melody for current Croatian national anthem was also Orthodox Serb https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josip_Runjanin

Arsen Dedić was born from father who was Orthodox priest and Bunjevac mother https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arsen_Dedić#Biography

Father of Croatian nation Ante Starčević was born of Bunjevac father and Serbian mother (Milica born Bogdan) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ante_Starčević#Biography

Many other Serbs and half Serbs had significant influence on Croatian culture, politics, military etc. Ivo Josipović said when he was president of Croatia that without Serbian influence (like people above) Croatian culture would be poorer.

Irrelevant and just show significant among of y-dna among Croatian Sers is native Croatian. Serbs have no connection to the Carpathians, and only people who migrated from Carpathians to Dalmatia were Croats.
Even on your forums Serb nationalists used this y-dna as example of original Croatian haplogroup

But without people like you it is richer. up:
