Taxpaying Americans, who pay Federal and local income taxes, real estate taxes, do sustain illegals. Most illegals find ways work "under the table". So taxes are not taken out of a paycheck. Especially as it relates to kids of illegals getting a free education. Medical care is a different matters, if you are sick or something hospitals can't turn you away, you will get care. Lots of scams here. In border towns pregnant Mexican women slip across the border, just before giving birth, take a taxi to American hospital, give birth there. Baby is a citizen. She goes back to Mexico, and when the kid is ready for school they cross the border everyday and go to an American school.

The other big scam is using fake or bogus social security numbers to gain employment "legally". When you have those people can then apply for welfare benefits.
