I think it's diabolical that small group of rebel MP's left Labour and Conservative to join The Independent Group. (An anti-democratic pro EU party that wants to block Brexit.)

Voters in their local constituencies must feel very cheesed-off that they voted for these MP's to represent a certain political party... only for the MP's to leave the party they were voted to represent... and join another party after they've been elected.

They should have the decency to resign... and then restand in their local areas to see if voters will revote for these traitors.

Imagine how you'd feel if you voted for a politician who represents a certain political party... only for that politician to go and join a completely different political party from what they were elected by voters to represent in their local area after they've been elected into power.

I wonder how Americans would feel if Donald Trump suddenly announced that he's switching to represent the Democrats (after he'd been elected by voters to represent the Republican Party,) but will stay in power anyway without having a revote... and just change policies and political party after being elected into power.

I couldn't imagine this type of betrayal to the voters would happen in the U.S.A.

It's like buying a miselading dress that was advertised as being blue... and after you've bought it - you receive a red dress instead.

Trump has actually been a member of multiple parties in the past before running for President, but yea it's nearly unthinkable for politicians to do something like this in America.

It's pretty remarkable how utterly fucked the British political establishment has become in the 21st century. This Brexit situation has just put a blinding spotlight on it.

I'm not understanding people wanting their countries to leave a big conglomerate like the EU to go it alone as a small nation. Isn't it better to be part of a big organisation than dealing with giants like Russia, China, India and the US on your own? I'm sure Putin and Trump would much prefer the EU to break up. It suits these other powers for this to happen. I really don't understand the logic but that's just me. What's the benefit of becoming smaller in today's world? I don't see the benefit myself. Good luck with getting good trade deals when your on own. They'll all want visa free travel and easier work permits for their populace. Just watch and see. Anyone that thinks their immigration is going to be reduced is living in fantasy land. Breaking up the EU will just weaken Europe.

Does every here want to see the EU break up?

Because obviously the British people are too stupid for the democratic process and don't know what's best for themselves.
