I guess you can see that we Belgians, Germans, French folks all are more southern-shifted than the Britons and Irish. So I don't see how people even believed that they were descended from Iberians! If it was so, then all Western Europe is Iberian, because Iberians would have first invaded Western Europe before crossing over to the British Isles. The inhabitants are much more related to the people of the Low Countries than bloody dark Iberians! The highest ratio of people with red hair, pale-skin or freckles is found in the British Isles, thus it is impossible for most Britons or Irish folks to be descended from mainly Mediterranean Iberians.

I would say light eyes in southern France are arround 35%, 20% is very few in this region. I doubt there is a single french departement under 25% if you take only natives.
According to your own research? My Spain part is based on Hoyos Sainz. It's the only work available. I will update my France part when the work is done by Ikiru. For now it's based on current Chamla numbers that we have.

The German map is old. Although through in my studies, about 35% of Germans are blue-eyed.
Your French map needs update. This is the latest study for blue eyes in France per department! Ranging from 10% (Ariege in Southwest France and the Seine) to 35% (Mayenne in Northwest).

I acknowledge combining different studies may give slightly different results, that's what I wrote a disclaimer in the initial post. But unfortunately it's the best we have. I have done my best to synchronize it and the numbers fit very well with the ToeKneeHwin who did the study for all countries with equal standards. Combining different studies in one map isn't a new idea. It is what Coon did and his map was published in a mainstream book. I think my map is good enough for an internet forum. If anyone has any better data, I will gladly improve it, that's why I made this post.

If you have any studies for Germany please post them.

That is not the latest study. It comes from Topinard and is more than 100 years old.

It doesn't come Topinard!!! What a joke! This is of a 2012 study! Topinambours never recorded Mayenne as the bluest-eyed department, and he didn't also say the Seine department is one of the darkest-eyed despite being in the north.

It seems it comes from the data collected by an obscure dating website: https://www.meetcrunch.com
I can't find any precise track of its publication though and it's not very accurate on reporting the eye color of aboriginal French population.
