Do I 'count'?

In the forum rules section, it states that I must be (demographically) from this region...meaning Europe. Well, I am of European descent; for me to claim that I am 'Irish', well, my recent ancestors are Irish. I guess I am American, please don't hold this against me (from what I hear, Americans aren't thought of too highly abroad). I recognize that America does not cover 90% of the globe. I also recognize that there are people & places beyond our coastline that are every bit as legitimate. Maybe more so, seeing how things are going.

Anyway, I found the forum while searching the internet for Bobby Carlyle stuff. Saw the thread talking about him, and finally decided to jump in.

So, demographically speaking, do I count?

As you might have noticed we have a lot of Americans here and colonials are always welcome - a lot of people consider them to be Overseas Europeans and they have their own section here and quite an impressive sphere of influence.
