I am drawn towards homelessness

I am too, but in the sense that I would like to do more to help. It may sound dumb AF, but this summer, I wanted to start handing out cold water bottles twice a week during the summer. It gets to triple digits out here, and there’s a large amount of people pooling underneath several bridges in the less nicer parts of town.

It’s not much, but it’s something. I’ve been doing research on blessings boxes. I feel like at this point, I’d just have to figure out what schools or churches I’d like to place one by. The problem with that is maybe those areas don’t want homeless people increasing? But then what would be the purpose of helping others.. but then a large majority of homeless people are lacking their meds and could be dangerous around kids and elderly.

Been thinking about parks as well, but idk. I have to put more thought into which people would benefit the most without inviting others into a dangerous position.
