Why amerindians can't improve technology, economy and other science fields again?

After saw several posts in defense of the ancient american civilizations I have a question. Why amerindian are on the bottom of their countries? Why they can't improve technology and other science fields as they did before spaniards arrive? Why they can't be great again? What happen? Spanish Empire was took down 500 years ago and amerindians still in the same bad conditions.

That´s like saying nothing.

The contributions of Mexico to the science (in any field, even robotical competitions) are almost non-existent, you are a scientific nullity in every sense.

And most of the scientific production of Mexico is made by whites or castizos with high spanish-european genetic imput (as in most of Latin America)

When you're a second class citizen in your own country it's far more difficult to achieve anything.

You speak as if they haven't been killed en masse by Spanish diseases and subject to a system of social exploration. I've read some data stating that the Amerindian population of the Americas never recovered the numbers of original Amerindians of pre-Columbian times even after 500 years.

The problem with members of forums like this one is that they totally lack historical information.

I've read that Lemurians weren't technically advanced. Atlantis peaked in voice technology but after they destroyed their island some priest moved to South America others wentward Egypt and the Orient and helped the locals building the pyramids and gave them the cult of sun worship and the usage of solar energy and lighting.
