More detailed information about general migratory population in and around UK

Yeah so most of my family is from the UK, and around the area of France, Belgium and also the rest of Germany. I was just wondering if there was some connection or reason why? Doesn’t Vririan have kindnof a strange history or some such thing? I wonder then why it rose to such prominence and colonized half of the world as it has. I’m just trying to wonder if they were just from around that area or what it was exactly. We’re the AngloSaxons remaining Romans seeking revenge, lol? Likewise then the remaining Viking influence is obvious but then there’s other things, was it all celts in the UK?

Were they just around that area intermittently roaming around and still,largely of German origin? I can’t tell if I’m german mostly or not.
