Persian architecture comes from Great Seljuks. It is not about Anatolia but from today's Iran borders.

I agree with the last statement
For us Balkan Muslims, Byzantine Architecture meant a lot, cause it made us believe and observe Ottoman Empire as practical spiritual successor to Roman Empire.
Muslim Greeks and Serbs did a lot to make us feel at home, Turks liked it as well and we lived nicely 500 years, Islam connected us and we were fine.

Nowdays I see mosques built with modernist style (American, Germanic) I despise those mosques.... they say it's expensive to build Ottoman-style Mosque, then they shouldn't build it!.

Istanbul never experienced World War so it has all traditional buildings in place, it's beautiful really.

Imperial Administration adopted Islam, you need to get with Times or move to Greece. Most Armenians did a right move and became Modern Turks. What do you want? To build Armenia inside Turkey? No way Hosea.

Turkey is modern successor to Ottoman and Byzantine Empire, there is no place for Orthodox religion there. True Armenians built mosques not Churches.
