Could it have been from not hasting enough before the rest, is there something about my ancestry that is different? Or was there not enough range for it evidence on file for it, like genetic material...or?
“After centuries of conflict, Scotland and England finally became one kingdom in the early 1700s. Highlanders opposed to the union mounted several unsuccessful rebellions, most notably in 1745, which ended in the bloody Battle of Culloden. The British government retaliated with laws that eroded Highland culture and identity—disbanding the clan system and outlawing bagpipes, weapons, and wearing tartan. Many Lowlanders favored the union with England because of the economic progress it promised and embraced the passing of what they considered “backward” Highland culture.”
Oh fuck, that sounds really familiar.
