    Turkish has experienced enough deviation from most other Turkic languages, let alone Mongolian. They may have a common root if you go far back enough but that's like saying Spanish and Hindi are related because they're both Indo-European languages. They are not similar at all.

    Mongolian language sounds closer to Tungusic languages(Manchu and others) which i'm almost 100% sure that they are related with each other

    Tungus/Dongız/Domuz means pig in Turkic languages and Evenkis were called pigs by Sakha thats were the name Tungus cames from

    (I don't believe in Mongolic, Tungusic plus Koreanic and Japonic being related with Turkic languages )

    as for the OP's question no it doesn't sound similar with Turkish
