Since 2005 old Soviet-era Bear bombers has started testing British air defences, just like in the Cold War. These incursions into British air space are increasing. Find out how the RAF deals with these intruders and what the Russians are up to.

The Russians have been doing this for many years now. Whenever an alert is received that a Bear is approaching our back yard, our RAF pilots are quickly scrambled off the coasts of Cornwall and Scotland to quickly chase away those big bomber planes away from approaching our island.

They're testing our reaction times and defences.

They do it to the Canadians and Americans too.

Our top-gun RAF (Royal Air Force) pilots are all universtiy educated and highly trained with the Royal Air Force.


They've performed thousands of displays in over 55 nations. I used to watch them perform infront of large crowds a lot over the sea as a child each year. They've been given top positions in prestigious international air display shows.
They've given displays over NYC for Americans... and an English female donated £1.5 million to charity to get the chance to fly with our top-gun reds. They're highly skilled RAF pilots who also defend our island.

The British are extremely patriotic about our reds. They're real-life heroes who defend our island.

A Russian warship sailed along the North Sea.

The Russian warship was old and she was billowing thick black smoke from her chimneys. The conditions inside that ship were said to be very manky for the sailors onboard.
