How many times do you eat fish a week?

Once a week, on Thursdays, it was accepted in our family to eat fish, this is a Soviet tradition. Why should I interrupt it?
The choice of fish for frying consists of 5-8 options(most often here are cod, flounder, perch, salmon, pink salmon, carp, whitefish, trout).

Almost each day. Mostly tuna and salmon, although occasionally haddock, cod, pilchards, sardines and mackerel. I like shellfish too, especially mussels, cockles, and oysters.

Once every two weeks more or less. I usually eat fried fish, or pasta with tuna and tomatoes. I'm not a fish consumer, like most Sardinians I'm mostly carnivorous.

Really? I'd thought that fish and seafood in general were an important part of Sardinian diet considering it's an island.

Sardinian people is an anomaly under every aspect, dna, language, and traditions, we live in an island, but we are not fishermen or sailors (all the fishermen who live in the coastal towns are all strangers, from Campania or Sicily). All our traditions, culture, and cuisine are mostly a product of our land, like most of our cuisine that is made of meat, cheese and agricultural products. The traditional activities of Sardinians are agriculture and shepherding, mostly sheeps (there are more sheeps than humans on the island).

Really sad. Do you not like fisherman's pie? I grew-up by the sea and ate a lot of fish as a child and also as a teenager. I've been eating it all my life and if you cook and garnish fish nicely, it's delicious. My son loves fish too and so does his father and they also eat a lot of fresh fish from the markets. Steamed cod or haddock is lovely with steamed spinach and fresh lemon slices.

It's really good for your skin, complexion, bones, eyes, hair, heart, and brain. I rarely eat meat (except occasionally for chicken with the skin removed.... but most of my protein comes from fish.)
