I know fish is healthy, but I just cant eat it. I just hate the smell and the taste, aswell if I see a fish on the plate with eyes, it feels to me so disgusting. I eat only chicken and sometimes beef (steak or sm).

Some weeks, a few days, other weeks, none at all.

I'm not really a fan of salmon and tuna which seem to be trendy atm for their supposed health benefits. (most of the salmon farmed and the tuna endangered in the wild)

I prefer smoked mullet or kahawai and for fresh white fish, snapper, tarakihi, hapuka and john dory.
The fresh smoked fish is tasty picked at but also beautiful in a smoked fish pie.
Nine out of ten concerns are completely unfounded.

The problem with fish is mercury poisoning. I am much more a meat person specifically red meat. I can’t get enough

I often get cans of tuna to eat. Not cause I like them but because I’m on a diet and need lean proteins. I could see myself eating well prepared seafood(especially exotic like squid or kalamari) at a restaurant. But I don’t think I would buy fish from s store and eat it for dinner. I suspect it may be an acquired taste. In my parents cultural cuisine seafood is not big it’s eaten rarely. Instead our diet is meat heavy with goat meat, lamb, chicken, and beef. I like venison too bc it tastes similar to beef. I have also tried pork in the past but it doesn’t taste good to me at all, again maybe connected to acquired taste.
