Default Which European cuisine is the best?

This is all about personal preference but I'm curious as to which European cuisine you think is the best?

Turkish IMO, even if its not fully European, better than Greek food I think.

Turkish food has very middle eastern elements, in that it includes sauce/curry/meze like dishes like this (alici ezme) that really add a complex array of flavours to a meal. Greek food is still quite European in that its still quite plain meats or stews with seasoning. Still love Greek food though.

Followed by Italian maybe. Followed by Greece. Then there is a massive gap but spain and france follow.

But I think none of the meds compare to the culinary skills of the tropical populations of the world; Indians, Viets, Africans, Carribeans, Mexicans. Man the flavours and spices these guys can pack into a meal is incredible.

Of course such a matter is entirely subjective. I don't want to offend the greenlandic members that get so defensive on here about their whale blabber.

For me? It depends on the day of the week and my mood. During the winter, I love to eat central/eastern European foods from a nearby deli. Italian food is another option. In the warmer months, I tend to opt for Greek and other lighter Mediterranean type foods (Lebanese) and gyros. My taste is quite diversified and I'm always willing to explore different styles of ethnic foods. I'm a fan of kosher delis too.

Here's a eastern european deli that I frequent quite often:

    https://kramarczuks.com/

The smell of the place when I walk in the door is just glorious. The smell of meat from the butcher shop and the deli is heavenly.

For the most part, Turkish Cuisine absorbed or adopted the cuisines genuinely and originally used by the more indigenous people of the former Ottoman Empire -- namely Armenians, Persians, Assyrians, Mesopotamians in general, Levantine People in general, Greeks and other Balkan People. I'm fine with Turks doing that, provided that they would give an acknowledgement to those whom contributed, something too often conveniently forgotten.

The Sultan's Chefs were an international group of experts whom at times were able to perfect and improve upon the original cuisine. American Cuisine does the same thing, but more often than not American Chefs have no problem giving an acknowledgment for the places of origin, from which their embellished dishes originated. That includes Native American contributions to American Cuisine.

I'm having a hard time recalling what an authentic Native American dish is?

100% Turkish food, which is obviously mixed with Caucasian, Mesopotamian and Levantine elements. So much of our cuisine comes from Turkey and our food is the best in the world

Really debating between Italian and Greek. I'm leaning a bit towards Italian though but both are my favorites among european cuisines.
