He was probably some Roman vassal in Croatia like Branković Despots.

Roman influence wasn't cleansed from Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia but only after 1000 A.D.

No. This graves are from time of Ljudevit Posavski rebelion against Franks, 8-9th century.
lot of Frankish equipment in grave goods which could indicate it was war booty collected from them
also Byzantine coins just like burials near Knin

it was on TV some time ago. He was probably Byzantine aristocrat that ended up in Dalmatia
This one seems to be a local prince. So theoretically he should be Slavic considering Slavs were already settled there in the 8th century.

About DNA extraction, hopefully we get some. Take the tolense battlefield discovery. Some 2000 Bronze Age male warriors between Germany and Poland were found. Both opposing forces. That was 5 years ago. They gave us some autosomal and mtdna. I smell a cover up or a really retardedly funded undertaking that ignored a big part of that discovery. Still no YDNA for this big find.

“This time, in 1300 B.C. was also marked by cultural upheaval in Central Europe, when new ideologies were coming in from the Mediterranean with the start of the Urnfield culture (named for the way the dead were cremated and buried in urns). "It's not by accident that our battlefield site is dating to this period of time," Terberger said.”

Cucks. You got to be mentally challenged to take out mtdna and autosomal but ignore YDNA.

I don't trust this modern PC science too much. Notice we got no ancient DNA from France ? It is banned there.

It’s sad really. You know what a wealth of information a 2000 warrior battle for one of the biggest Bronze Age Wars discovered holds? Let’s tell them about their momss lol.
Because the French are afraid to find out they’re mostly Germanics and Celts and Romans. Lol. Do American French have a project though?

It is because France is PC dictatorship and they don't want their population to learn about their ancestors so they could push ''Every French citizen is ethnic French'' bullshit.
France is living in dark age at the moment. Imagine that, science is banned due to political reasons in 21st century, not in North Korea, but in progressive democratic France.
