Kipchak-Cuman confederacy racially were mixed bag of ethnics, and then they went to Europe and assimilated.

Is similar as Cossacks you get accepted by your duty, not ethnicity nobody cares about that.

from this comment it is clear that you are talking about genetics and not about culture. You say that some Eurasian geneticist claimed Asian Kipchak origin of that sample, while some East European geneticist claimed European origin. Also post a link for that claim.
