A less finely tiered scale of six skin types, called the Fitzpatrick scale, was introduced in 1975 by Harvard dermatologist Thomas B. Fitzpatrick to describe the sun tanning behaviour of various skin types, without any racial classification connotations, as follows:

I 1–5 Very light or white, "Celtic" type
II 6–10 Light or light-skinned European
III 11–15 Light intermediate, or dark-skinned European
IV 16–21 Dark intermediate, also "Mediterranean" or "olive skin"

VI 29–36 Very dark or "black" type

I think Im 18-20 so i would call myself dark but still in olive and approaching the brown type on the fitzpatrick scale

My body skin is celtic white but my balls are pretty swarthy in comparison.

Thats normal. Mine are a little darker as well. My body skin is also lighter than my face, but i based my judgement on my face. But i guess my body would still be in the Olive Range just lesser number on Von Luschan.

Ι am NC20 in Mac Cosmetics scale I don't know which is in there, but in Macs, is the second lightest. (the nc15 is probably the type I, the Celtic type.)

I have a yellow undertone, so 3-6 or 12-13 ( Can't really tell the difference, bad eyesight)..

I am probably type II. I am not that milky English type that is almost transparent.
