I'm a 4-5 on my screen, which is type one as it says. Also, I got red hair on my legs, and my beard, among other places

for me from fingers (whole hands) up to elbow is dark, than it gets lighter

What areas? Some areas are generally darker on all people. Genitals are generally darker, while palms are a little lighter on most people(mine are the same colour).

Do you know why genitals are darker? A google search reveals loads of people baffled about this on answers.com and yahoo.

I personally have no idea. I've heard people confused about it before, but it's normal. I'd ask someone more into this stuff than I am. I consider myself fairly bad at stuff like this.

There is though some overlap in the pigmentation. Capoids (Bushman) for example are sallow-light brown skinned, then you have some East Asians (Mongoloids) who are lighter than Southern Europeans.

It seems to me that pigmentation is only useful in identifying the polar extremes - Nordics and Negroids, as there is no overlap.
