Following my latest thread about my fellow citizen Aldo Busi (http://www.theapricity.com/forum/sho...013#post437013) here's another famous bresà (Brescian) for you to classify.

Some say that his grandmother was a Sinti Gypsy and I can see where that rumor comes from, since he does show some exotic facial traits around the eyes, nose and mouth. Nonetheless I wouldn't say that he cannot pass for Northern Italian. What do you think?

Interesting. So far all the Brescians I've posted for classification (three, including myself) have been classified as Atlanto-Dinarid, although to be honest I'm not sure that Andrea Pirlo is one. Anyway I will post more people from my province in the next days and at the end I'll see what are the predominant types according to you guys.

He looks Dinarid/Atlanto Med something in that range he has a strong Dinarid strain with those nose and that very short steeply sloping forehead it is interesting to see how Dinarid Italians make them look like Balkan Meds sort of.

I agree that Dinarid seems to be predominant in him although he is shorter than average (Wikipedia is wrong, actually he's about 1.74m).

However this is how I see a "Balkan Med" and he doesn't look like Pirlo in my opinion:

Incidentally he reminds me of Frenchman (of Portuguese extraction) Robert Pires.

I do agree that Pirlo's eyes are a lil bit "off" too. However I couldn't tell for sure by his look if he really had a Sinti grandmother.

Yep, he looks Slavic/Eastern European....
