Well as I explained before the Papacy before Constantine wasn't too keen on Imperial authority since the Roman Emperors actually killed off Saint Peter and Saint Paul. Only post Constantine was when Papacy answered to the Emperor and actually the Emperor overstepped his boundaries by forcing the creation of Constantinople as a Patriarchate and even head of the the Ecumunicals something the Emperor had no right since the other members of the Pentarchy were Patriarchates since they were originally established by the first Apostles yet the Emperor manhandled the Pope into making his new self entitled Capital a Patriarchate despite the fact that it doesn't have Apostolic origins and from then on things like the Filoque clause and Hesychast controversy just further built up the tensions between East and West.

If ever you cum here let's fuck some whores together homies!
Hmmm I barely can help you financially though. Granted that I come from a landed family, I already grieved my parents enough by signing off my inheritance to my former order as part of my vow of poverty then. I don't wanna leech off my family anymore by pilfering from the family properties and I should help you by my own income but my worthless Philosophy and Education degree may give smarty pants privilege, I don't get any significant mullahs myself.

"Capital a Patriarchate despite the fact that it doesn't have Apostolic origins "
You must understand that Romans and their Authority was regarded of Higher importance than opinion of Apostle, most of Romans observed
Christianity as "a New Cult, Trend" and they had many similar like "cult of Mithras etc." only later Christianity was promoted in more peculiar
and serious way (after Justinian) who basically created the First Christian Empire.
May I suggest you a Brochure (not big): it's called A Byzantine (Roman) View of the West.
Basically, Catholics think that any Catholic Christian is a Brother, where Romans believe that Every Roman is a Brother, and that only THEY are the true
people on Earth, and that only their Caesar/Basileos (Emperor) is the true representative of God on Earth not Patriarchs or Popes who were merely his servents.
Romans would observe Catholics as "Barbarians" because they allowed Germanic people to take position of power, Romans observed Germans like subhumans.
From my standpoint Catholic view was ... more humane in the sense it followed Religion only and it opened it doors to everyone, while Hellenes/Romans from Balkans
and Anatolia were Purists who cared about Blood, ancestry, Imperial Authority etc....
