A lot of people these days make Youtube Travel channels , I dont think you even need good equipment , if people like your channel eg you get enough views you can even make money off it.
Check this English guy out ... he travels by himself and makes a Youtube channel , he seems to speak good russian IDK if he is of Russian background but he speaks well.

The thought is exciting + anxiety inducing.
If your just travelling to neighbour countries then it's whatever.

Yes that man is great. I get my inspiration from people like him. He is actually Belorussian. And can go all over the former soviet union and communicate with everyone. Which he is currently doing in Moldova, and seems that everyone can speak Russian over there.
I can do similar but in the former Yugoslavia plus Bulgaria. I can communicate with the locals to some degree. Although Slovenian would be the hardest.
And yes. I'm aware of ways i can make money. One way is setting up a patreon.

I think these days travelling by yourself is much easier than any otherr time.
I have travelled through Europe on 3 different occasions , the first time I was in my early twenties during the mid nineties , I went with an old highschool buddy. We got a Eurail pass and travelled allover Europe , stayed in a lot of cheap backpacker places and met up with many other young travellers from all over Europe. We had some periods of time when we went our own ways and would meet up after several days of seperate travelling. Travelling has always been one of the most excitings things Ive done in life and I think especially the more budget style travelling where you stay in youthhostels or budget places and make your own way around by trains or buses ...this type of travelling is much more exciting than luxury travelling where you stay in expensive hotels and travel on expensive coach tours .
I would definitly encourage you to go for it Vojnik .

I also prefer traveling alone unless it's a romantic trip (Rome, Paris). if you travel with others you have to take their taste into account every time. one does not like culture, the other does not eat everything. as long as you have internet (google maps / trip advisor) you don't need anyone.
