Trump couldn't be successful without his strong support for Israel. The left would hate him regardless. But, most importantly, he needs Christian support, which he'd lose if he took an anti-Israel position. Considering his narrow margin of victory--coming in spite of a deficit in the popular vote and only because of slim majorities in PA, WI, and MI--it's quite possible he would not have even won the election if he didn't support Israel so fiercely. As Christians, we should love and support Israel as God's chosen nation (to which Gentile believers have been engrafted - see Romans 11). Furthermore, the foreign policy of the Trump Administration is Christian-led. Our Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is an unabashed Bible-believing Christian. We take an interest in Israel not only because support for Israel in good in and of itself, but because of the eschatological significance of Israel.

I'd also like to add that he's facing the establishment swamp (bias media, censoring politicians, identity politics, etc). More and more we are seeing the pieces fall as we go further down the rabbit hole.
