    Obviously Christian sheperds didn't have such culture. But it's not Ottomans that brought orientalism on Balkans, it was there long before them.
    Seljuk and Oghuz Turks adopted this culture anyway from Persians and Byzantines, they were originally steppe nomads without any oriental influences.

    Traditionally not, because we were Catholics, but young Croats do, because they are shaped by Balkan youtube channels that are shared for all Serbo-Croatian speakers and promote such culture.
