it's seasonal workers. while immigration would be different, with more benefits to the economy, since they stay to spend the money on here as well and hopefully they also have kids, to cover the serious demographic gap that we have and that will eventually hit us hard if we don't take action to replace the youth that left the country. we need working age immigration and ideally families, kids, for the future, to be able to keep the good growth we've seen since joining the EU

Pakistani's though? Surely there is enough evidence worldwide that this particular ethnicity doesn't make excellent citizens nor integrate well.

I haven't read the prior 10 pages so this may have been addressed already but why not lure back those ethnic Romanians that have emigrated elsewhere.

regarding Romanians returning - over a million returned during the pandemic already and while many still leave the country, many return, especially from Southern European countries, which seem to go through a bit of a recession now
