Anyway, there's nothing official at this point - only rumors.

I'm not saying the government is not thinking about it. I remember the idiot Teodorescu saying that Romania can't compete with other country on the European job market and that Romanians will always find better payed jobs abroad.

But there's no way that Romania will take half a million muslims, when Germany, a much larger country, couldn't ingest 1 million without major turmoil.

Well I don't want to compare Pakistanis to Gypsies. Just both have "foreigner" culture for Romanians I guess. integration can be problematic.
I don't understand why Romanian government doesn't motivate own people to stay in own country.
I don't live in Prague... but even despite it I meet Romanians very often where I live... It is so weird to replace own people by Pakistanis... (well, if it has to be... why not by Moldovans, Ukrainians?)
