20% of romanians are gypsies? Thats an exaggeration. sources say only 3% of Romanians are gypsies. Thats less than the percentage of south asians in UK and Canada

It seems to be very hard to count who's actually a Gypsy in many European countries. I've seen estimates from 5% to 20% for Romania. There's a map which people post here all the time saying 30% are gypsies lol. If the numbers are so high it's likely some part of Romania will secede in the future to form the Roma nation.

I highly doubt the percentages but anyways thats good then. A good portion of them are probably assimilated as regular romanians. So they can progress forward and have less race related issues. I highly doubt they'll make a separate nation. Probably just assimilate moreso overtime
