    no there are way more arabic words in spanish than in french : only 400 french words are from the arabic language and approximately 4000 in spanish

    Are you sure? I can find more than 400 just by scratching my head a little bit.
    Maybe you are right about Spanish relatedness, if we take in consideration that Spaniards integrate Arabic words more well than French did.

    yes you make a huge point here,maltese is almost arabic,but spanish is well influenced by arabic also,words in french like tomate,guitare,alcool,comes to my mind,even we are very less influenced than the spaniards

    but in portuguese is quite lesser i think ,portuguese at writing,because by hear it's awfull for me,at writing seems more nearer of italian more romanian than spanish
