What I was hinting on, is that Whites bickering about the skin color have at least the merit of highlighting an original physical trait and pushing the concept of whiteness to its paroxysm; whereas in Afro-Caribbean example, one is claiming superiority from being mixed and feel a disgust from the color half of his ancestors carried. I witnessed a good few altercations, to use the term "disgust".
