Eternal Moon

As I set my gaze upon the moon
staring deep into this silent sphere
My mind wanders to those of old
thinking of all who have looked upon this
unchanging heavenly body

The clouds they pass over it fast
As if another page of time has passed
And now my mind wanders to the future
Who will have their eyes fixed upon this moon,
so full of light, wondering whom before them set their sight
and shared this akin moment one night?

Heaven, Earth, Oceans.
(An Ode to Amun-Ra)

Elements bear the fruit of Amun,
Conceiving the flame of Ra.
Shines forth hence the light of Sun,
which dances upon the dunes of Gaia.
She learns to pray, to heave, to cry,
While bearing a palpiting life inside.
A life that can beat and blow and fly,
From the deepest inside toward the furthest netherside.
