Where is this from? Looks like mine and Bosniensis results are average for Serbia and Bosnia but that can't be. It's a bit weird that Bosnians get Romans and Serbs no but get Franks. Wonder where Montenegrins are included. Also it's interesting that only Croats and Slovenians get Avars.

THAt website called mytrueancestry. Click the 'populations' link. Choose Countries from 'Select modern group' and then click on the 'To closest ancient group' tab.

I wouldnt really believe to such a site

    Scythian + Roman (6.095)
    Gaul + Roman (11.16)
    Gaul (12.88)
    Scythian (14.26)
    Roman (15.04)

They just refer one current population to ancient one for sure, thats all.

Anyway Romans should be more southern shifted group than Franks that is why it is weird that Bosnians get it more than Serbs.

Closer to the Coast, closer to the Romans it's obvious.

When Slavs captured Coast, they fled to inner territories (Bosnia)

So it makes sense that they hid on mountains with Illyrians and who not.

    So brave.

East Balkan and Macedonia have more Roman admixture than western, how do you explain that?

    I already did.

How you mean so brave. They have been reasonable, they have lost Entire Western Europe and Hid on Balkans 480 A.D

See that "Dalmatia" region, that's the entire Western Roman Empire in 480 A.D.

Because they are closer to Roman Core territories: Greece and Turkey.

In Case of Romania, it naturally avoided many conflicts because routes were not going through Romania.

Balkan Took a strong hit from Germanic and Slavic arrivals but inner Bosnia apparently because of Mountains probably saved a lot of those "vlachs"
