Sephardim aren't really an easily-defined genetic group, but no matter how they're classified (Southern European Jews, North African Jews, Turkish Jews, or Syrian Jews), they're almost genetically identical to Ashkenazim. The only main difference is that Ashkenazim have some (10-15%) Northern European that "Sephardim" lack. And North African Jews have (10-15%) higher North African ancestry.
The other group is Mizrahim, who are West Asian Jews. They are distinct from Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Syrian, and North African Jews. Both groups have substantial common Levantine origin. Neither group is "Turko-Mongol."
